White House For the love of Light and Nature A family (owner and her mother) need the house that they can brighten up their daily life and serve as space for party , antiques and gardening. Since the requirements are quite somewhat different character, the main idea was to bring back the memory from the old house and place it between 2 users, working as common space and dinning area connecting 2 different characters together. The common area also connec to the center court where the roof opening gives natural light to the center. The idea for exterior is to make one single roof covering the house as required by owner’s Feng Shui. Since we did experiment on possibilities, we found that we can treat the 2nd floor as the attic so that the appearance of the house looks clean, calm, humble and friendly to neighborhood.
